We said goodbye to old friends and new friends, both of whom have become family and hold large pieces of our hearts. We plan to return and pick up where we left off and while we look forward to that
day we carry the memories with us of all we shared in this last season. These memories include Christmas parties
We discovered that building, whether large tiny homes or small bird feeders with 6 year olds, actually carry much more in the process than just a "finished" product. These activities actually serve to build confidence, relationships, creativity, and yes, hope.
We said good-bye to this wonderful season and set off towards the desert, we are full in our hearts with all we were given.
Here, in Arizona we began a new build in the form of transforming the room of our teenage God-grandson Simeon. He had a vision for a room that would look like a studio, a room where he, like so many in this "pandemic" season have found themselves isolated and in need of inspiration. Sometimes Hope looks like painting your room and creating a new "outlook" and in the process of this transformation, relationships are built, hearts are healed and hope is restored for a brighter future.
